November News

November 30, 2009

  1. Lake Desire Christmas Party – Friday, Dec. 18th, 5:30-7:30pm – Lake Desire children and their families are invited to the annual Christmas Party.  Santa Claus will be making his appearance.  Hot dogs, punch and dessert will be served.  There will also be crafts, gifts and time to meet your neighbors.  This year, we are asking for donations of canned food for those in need.  If you would like to volunteer for this event, please contact Heather Smith, Heather@smith.net,  Tammie Cook, Codsky@aol.com or Vi Anderson, woods_inn@msn.com.
  2. Dog Found – The Jack Russell looking dog that was found a few weeks ago was returned to her owner right away (thanks from the tips from neighbors).    ‘Lily’ seems to bolt out when there are bad rain storms.  The owner wants to thank those who helped find her way back.
  3. Monitored Septic Systems As you know, the county has decreased the number of times that our septic systems have to be monitored to twice a year.  But since my monitoring company has increased their fees, I am not seeing much of a cost savings. I am thinking we should all get with the same monitor to see if we can get a neighborhood deal. Contact Tammie Cook at codsky@aol.com or 425-687-0510.
